ACTIVATION IN PENTESTER PORTAL:
1. Go to Clients
2. Select the client and click on Client Portal tab
3. Finding Retest setting is enabled by default when creating a new client. When disabled, the client users can not request findings to be retested:
4. To make it possible for client users to request findings to be retested, it is needed to enable the toggle and to change notification settings by clicking on Change notification settings button (Send to all Pentester users in Project Team is checked by default):
CLIENT PORTAL:
1. After allowing client users to request retest, the Request Retest button is displayed in a Finding details:
2. When the client user clicks on the Request Retest button he confirms the action by submitting also a message:
CLIENT PORTAL & PENTESTER PORTAL:
- Once the action is confirmed, the status of that Finding changes to Retest Requested in both Client Portal and Pentester Portal:
- The changing of the status and the message above of the client user is saved in the Activity section of the Finding;
- The client account manager (if any) and the pentesters of that project team (if notification checked in the settings) are notified by email and in the portal for that request (make sure the notifications of your user are activated).
