There is a trick we always suggest to solve the "How to mass import findings to library?" question and here is how:
- Create a Test/Blank Project
- The status of a newly created project is Onboarding and while a project is on-boarding, it is not possible to add findings
- Click on the status of the project to change it manually and move it to Testing for example
- Click on Import/Export and choose Import from file
- You can choose among the different options. Findings can be imported from a tool/scanner or you can create and upload a csv or an xml file
Important note: In case you can not find what you need, you can always request a new integration for your field of work.
In order to make a successful import, the provided csv or xml file needs to follow a specific format and there are rules for the columns to be met on the provided files.
To import findings from a CSV File, check this article: Import Findings from CSV File
To import findings from a XML File, check this article: Import Findings from XML File - This is a six-steps process so once you choose type, you can see the progress in the bar
- Once the import process is finished, select all the Findings you will now import to a Finding Library to reuse them
- Click on Add to library and choose a library
After you save to confirm the action, if you go to check the Finding Templates of the Finding Library chosen above, the selected findings have been imported.
To re-use findings from Findings Libraries on different projects, check this article.
