Scheduling work across teams means understanding how much work you have now and in the future and who's responsible at each stage. With Cyver Core's planning and availability features, you can assign work to pentesters and teams, see work allocation and availability across teams, and allow clients to schedule requests based on your availability.
That gives you a dashboard view of who is working and when, so you can manage and better allocate workloads across individuals and teams. You also get insight into busy and slow periods for your pentest firm, so you can better align incoming work with your calendar.
Edit Planning Settings (Global Configuration)
Planning Settings control company-wide workdays, holidays, and standards. This allows you to set global defaults across the platform, which you can then tailor as-needed with individual project and user availability.
From the Cyver Portal, click Settings, then go to Planning Settings.
Set Company Work Days
Set default company work days to automatically define how many days per week you work and which days you're available.

Project-Level Planning & Calendar
Once your global settings are configured, you can manually manage timelines, schedules, and timesheets for any specific project.
Navigate to a specific project and open the Planning tab. Here, you will find three sub-tabs: Planning, Scheduling, and Timesheet.
1. The Planning Tab (Gantt Chart View)
This tab provides a hierarchical, Gantt-style overview of your entire project, broken down by Statuses and individual Workflow Tasks.
Adjusting the View: Click the Gear (Settings) icon on the right side to filter the timeline resolution by Day, Week, or Month. Click Apply to save your view.
-
Editing Dates: To manually adjust the start and end dates for project phases:
Click the Edit button at the top right of the chart.
The Edit Planning modal will appear.
Use the calendar date pickers to modify the Start Date and End Date for the overall project or specific statuses.
Click Save to update the timeline.
2. The Scheduling Tab (Timeline & Calendar Views)
The Scheduling sub-tab helps you manage resource allocation and view upcoming deadlines. You can toggle between two views using the buttons at the top left:
Timeline View: Lists your Pentesters on the left vertical axis and dates on the horizontal axis. Workflow tasks are displayed as horizontal blocks assigned to specific users, allowing you to spot overlaps or free capacity.
Calendar View: Provides a classic, full-page monthly calendar view. It displays project milestones, statuses, and workflow tasks directly on the days they are scheduled. Use the left-hand sidebar menu to toggle visibility for Status and Tasks on or off.
Interactive Task Cards: In both the Timeline and Calendar views, clicking on any workflow task block will open a detailed popover card. This provides immediate context by displaying the Project Name and Client Name associated with the task. You can also click the shortcut icon directly next to the project name to be instantly redirected to the project's overview page.
3. The Timesheet Tab
The Timesheet sub-tab is where actual logged hours are recorded. Whenever a pentester uses the "Start Activity" timer or manually registers time for a task, the data appears here in a detailed table.
(For a detailed guide on how testers can log their hours, please refer to our Time Tracking & Timesheets article).
