Linked Accounts & User Profiles with Same Email

If you want to set up multiple Cyver Core email accounts on one email address, you can do so with the Profile Switching settings. 

The first account created with an email will always be the Primary account. The Primary account is used for authentication and login. All password policies, including 2FA, will apply to that account. 

To set this up:

Enable Multiple Accounts Per Email

Make sure you're logged in with an administrator account. 

1. Click Administration from the Navigation Menu
2. Click Portal
3. Go to the Security tab
4. Scroll down to Other Settings
5. Click Allow Users to Switch profiles on Multiple Accounts with the Same Email
6. Click Save

Add client or pentest users as you normally would, except now without email restrictions

1. Add new pentest users
2. Add new client users

Automatic Activation for Linked Accounts

When you add a new user with an email address that already exists and is confirmed on the platform, the new account will be automatically activated. The user will not receive a new activation email for this linked account and can immediately switch to it.

Accessing Profiles and Accounts with the Same Email 

You can access any accounts on the same email by logging into your Primary account. From there, you can simply switch between all accounts connected to that email address. 

1. Click the profile photo in the top right of the account
2. Select Linked Accounts                                                                                              
3. Choose from Linked Accounts Connected to the Email
4. Use the green toggle to adjust your primary Cyver Core account
