If you're editing a report with your team, you want to be able to collaborate on versions, edits, and updates. With collaboration tooling in the editor, you can.
Commenting in the Report Editor
Leave Comments
To leave comments in the report, simply navigate to the pentest project you'd like to comment on.
- Click Report in the navigation tab
- Make sure you're on the Preview pane in the Report window
- Highlight text and select Add Comment
- Leave your comment
Comments will show up on the report and in the comment tab.
View Comments
- Click Comments at the top of the report window. It will open a pane with all comments on the report.
- Click View Comment to navigate to the relevant section of the report.
- Comments are highlighted in yellow and can be viewed directly in the report.
Resolve and Delete Comments
You can edit, delete, resolve, or re-open comments from the comments tab.
- Click Comments in the top of the report window
- Select the Comment you'd like to edit and either click Resolve or click ...
- If you Delete a Comment, it is removed from the comment history. Resolved Comments are closed and kept in the Comment pane for later review.
- To Re-open a comment, simply click ... and Reopen on an already closed Comment
Version History and Change Review in the Report Editor
The Version Changes tab shows version history and changes. Recent additions are highlighted in green. Recent deletions are highlighted in red.
- Navigate to the report you're editing
- Click Version Changes in the Report Menu
- Review all recent changes
