Previously, when making findings visible to clients, the status was automatically set to “Pending Fix” by default. This applied the same way to all finding types - vulnerabilities, observations, nonconformities, incidents, or risks.
To give you more flexibility, w have introduced a way to customize the default status per finding type. You can now configure this in Settings → Finding Fields → Other Settings, where you will find the card “Default Visible to Client Status per Finding Type.” This allows you to choose which status should be applied automatically for each finding type when it is published.
Customize the default status per finding type
1. Edit status name
Clicking Edit status name button will open a pop-up. By default, the value per each type is set to Pending Fix. The options available for selection are the statuses currently marked as Open.
2. Select the new default status per finding type.
For example:
3. Save.
4. Go to a Project → Findings. You can make findings visible in batch using Set visible to client, or by enabling the toggle one by one per finding.
5. Make the findings visible - the new default status matches the changes in Step 2.
