Cyver Core supports the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS) Checklist. This standard provides a robust framework for securing cryptocurrency systems, focusing on the unique risks associated with the management of digital assets.
General Information on the CCSS
The Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS) is an open standard designed to supplement existing information security standards (such as ISO 27001) by addressing the specific security controls required for cryptocurrencies and block chains.
Developed to keep pace with the rapidly evolving industry, the CCSS focuses on the information security of the systems that store, accept, or transact with digital assets. It applies to any organization that handles cryptocurrencies, including exchanges, web wallets, and merchant processing services.
The standard establishes three levels of security (Level 1 to Level 3), allowing organizations to scale their security posture from strong baseline controls to enhanced, rigorous security measures.
