Integrate Cyver Core with ServiceNow to easily push findings as tickets directly into your ServiceNow instance. This integration features a one-way sync (Cyver to ServiceNow), making it simple for the clients to track and remediate vulnerabilities using their existing workflows.
Pentester Portal - Allow the client to connect ServiceNow
Before a client can use the integration, it must be enabled for their account from the Pentester Portal.
Navigate to Clients from the left-hand menu.
Select the relevant client from your list.
Go to the Client Portal tab.
Enable the ServiceNow toggle.
Client Portal - Link Cyver Core to Your ServiceNow Account
Once enabled by the pentester team, client users can set up the integration from their portal.
Go to Settings from the left-hand menu.
Click Integrations.
Select ServiceNow.
Click Setup ServiceNow.
In the configuration modal, enter your ServiceNow credentials:
Instance name
Client ID
Client Secret
Click Save.
Click the Connect to your ServiceNow account button to finalize the authorization.
Note: You can disconnect your account at any time by returning to this menu and clicking "Remove Integration".
How to Create and Link Records
Once connected, client users can manually push findings to ServiceNow or link them to existing records directly from the Finding view within the projects.
Create a New ServiceNow Record
Open a Finding.
On the right-hand side panel, under the "Link to ServiceNow Record" section, click Create ServiceNow Record.
A modal will appear displaying your Instance name and the Record Type.
Click Create ServiceNow Record to push the finding.
Link to an Existing ServiceNow Record
Open a Finding.
On the right-hand side panel, click Link to Existing Record.
In the Record search box, type at least 3 characters to search for the relevant issue in your ServiceNow instance.
Select the correct record from the dropdown menu and click Save.
Remove a Linked Record If you accidentally linked the wrong record or need to disconnect it for any reason, open the Finding and click Remove ServiceNow Link on the right-hand panel.
