Cyver Core uses Workflows to help you track work across projects, share project updates and status transparently with clients, and estimate workloads and schedules across your team.
Once you have a Workflow Template set up and have added Workflow Tasks, you can use Workflows across Projects to assign tasks to Pentester or Client Users and Teams. When the task is completed, the Workflow automatically moves forward, notifies anyone assigned to the next task, and updates project Status where appropriate.
Let's take a look at how that works:
Using Workflow Templates
1. Edit or set up a Pentest Template to add a Workflow Template
2. Set up a Pentest with that Pentest Template
3. Your Pentest will automatically generate complete with the Workflow you set up from the Template. This includes tasks, Assignees, Deadlines, and more.
Just make sure you link the correct Workflow Template to your Pentest Template, and you'll automatically add those steps to new Pentest Projects set up with that Template.
Assigning Workflow Tasks
Cyver Core allows you to automatically assign Workflow tasks based on roles. You add Project Lead, Reviewer Lead, or Team Lead as Task Assignee from the Workflow Template.
When you set up your Pentest Project Template, you'll assign individuals to those roles. Those individuals will be assigned to tasks when you set up projects with a Workflow.
You can also edit the specific Pentest Project you'd like to adjust tasks assignation for to manually change individuals in roles.
